We’re excited to announce performance improvements to the MoreNews theme, focusing on faster load times and a smoother user experience. Several features are now disabled by default to boost your site’s performance. However, you can easily re-enable them via the WordPress Customizer if needed.
What’s New:
1. Preloader Animation
The preloader animation is now disabled by default, allowing your content to display faster. If you wish to enable it, navigate to Customize > Global Settings > Preloader Animation.
2. Reading Time Indicator
The “Minutes Read” indicator, which displays the estimated reading time for your articles, is also disabled by default. To bring it back, go to Customize > Theme Options > Minutes Read Time.
3. Fallback Content Image
Fetching a default content image when no featured image is set has been disabled by default. You can enable this option by visiting Customize > Global Settings > Also Show Content Image in Archive.
CSS Changes and Cache Clearing
Due to changes in the CSS, please ensure you disable any CSS minification plugins you’ve enabled, and clear both your server and browser cache to apply the updates correctly.
